The Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks an outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in osseointegration to join its Bone-Anchored Limb Program.
This is a unique opportunity to help lead one of the nation's most innovative and comprehensive multidisciplinary bone-anchored limb programs. Established in 2015, the University of Colorado Bone-Anchored Limb Program works in partnership with the Limb Restoration Program and has become an internationally recognized destination for amputee care. The program provides an integrated, patient-centered approach to limb preservation and restoration, bringing together orthopedic trauma, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, musculoskeletal oncology, infectious disease, physical medicine and rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthotics, physical therapy, radiology, wound care, and other specialties.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for the osseointegration program while building a nationally recognized academic practice focused on innovation and research to advance bone-anchored limb prosthetics. This individual will join the Orthopedic Trauma Division in a thriving academic department and play a central role in advancing clinical care, research, innovation, and education. This will be a .50 FTE position.
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this .50 FTE position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Professor - $224,839 - $386,225
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
