Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; furnace/ HIP experience preferred.
• Ability to read process sheets, routers and customer drawings.
• Familiar with power tools, cranes/hoists, and material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to documentation accuracy and safety rules.

Aufgaben

• Operate HIP units by loading parts, preparing setups, verifying bases and running cycles.
• Monitor cycles, check equipment status, and report issues promptly.
• Complete required documentation with initials, dates, lot numbers and cycle data.
• Perform pre-/post-HIP inspections to ensure compliance with routers and specs.
• Maintain logs of cycle data, equipment readings and shift activity.
• Use PPE and follow OSHA safety rules; assist others with safe loading techniques.
• Support 6S by organizing tools and keeping work area clean and stocked.
