Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Hindi Bilingual Expert for a 100% remote contractor role. You will listen to Hindi audio clips, evaluate nativeness and fluency, and provide detailed written feedback in English to help train AI models.

Preferred candidates are native Hindi speakers with at least English level B2, and a background in linguistics or phonetics. Experience in audio analysis or transcription is valued, with strong attention to detail and clear communication.

In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Listen to audio clips in Hindi and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
• Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in Hindi language understanding and generation.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Hindi, with clear enunciation and natural fluency.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
