This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to Hindi speakers in the New York metropolitan area. No prior AI experience needed — just native-level Hindi, strong listening skills, and a commitment to word-level accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Listen to Hindi audio recordings and review corresponding transcripts for accuracy
• Correct errors in transcription — including misheard words, missing segments, and incorrect spellings
• Verify and adjust word-level timing and alignment to match the audio precisely
• Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across all tasks
• Flag ambiguous audio, overlapping speech, or segments requiring special attention
• Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across large volumes of transcript data
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Hindi with excellent listening comprehension
• Exceptionally detail-oriented — you catch what others miss at the word level
• Comfortable working with exact timing and precise text-to-audio alignment
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting instructions with consistency
• Strong concentration and patience when working through lengthy audio files
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience as a transcriptionist, court reporter, or stenographer
• Background in subtitle editing, closed-captioning, or dubbing
• Linguistics training or academic background in Hindi or related languages
• Prior work with annotation platforms, labeling tools, or transcription software
