Freeman Health System in Bentonville, AR seeks a HIM Technician, Non-Certified to support the medical records team. You will collect and prepare records for coding and reimbursement, ensure chart completion, and manage permanent storage and retrieval of records.

Responsibilities include assisting with birth certificates as required and supporting HIM Operations Manager as needed, along with other duties to sustain HIM operations.

Qualifikationen

• Medical records experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of medical records experience preferred.

What You’ll Do:

The HIM Technician, Non-Certified plays an integral part in the collection and preparation of medical records for coding and reimbursement activities, physician chart completion, and permanent record storage and retrieval. Additionally, may serve a unique role completing birth certificates according to state requirements and hospital policy along with assisting HIM Tech, Certified as directed by HIM Operations Manager/Lead (as needed) along with various other tasks needed for HIM operation

Preferred Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent or Some college
  1-3 years medical records
