Job summary

Freeman Health System in Bentonville, AR seeks a HIM Technician, Non-Certified to support the medical records team. You will collect and prepare records for coding and reimbursement, ensure chart completion, and manage permanent storage and retrieval of records.

Responsibilities include assisting with birth certificates as required and supporting HIM Operations Manager as needed, along with other duties to sustain HIM operations.

Qualifications

• Medical records experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of medical records experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare medical records for coding and reimbursement activities.
• Physician chart completion and permanent record storage and retrieval.
• May assist with birth certificates according to state requirements and hospital policy.
• Assist HIM Operations Manager/Lead and other HIM tasks as needed.
