• High school diploma or equivalent or some college.
• 1–3 years medical records experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare medical records for coding and reimbursement activities.
• Assist with physician chart completion and ensure permanent record storage and retrieval.
• May assist with birth certificate completion according to state requirements and hospital policy.
• Perform other HIM operations tasks under supervision of the HIM Operations Manager/Lead.
