Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with medical records or healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage patient medical records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Assemble, scan, import, and organize patient documents in the EHR.
• Prepare charts and gather records before appointments to support provider readiness.
• Process requests for health records from authorized parties following HIPAA and laws.
• Monitor and route incoming/outgoing faxes and ensure timely transmission.
