HonorHealth is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator to lead HIM staff on shifts, ensure chart processing accuracy, and oversee release of information. You’ll manage priorities, train personnel, and collaborate with leadership to maintain high quality patient records.
Ideal candidates have 1+ year in lead/coordinating roles, familiarity with HIM processes, and strong verbal/written communication. RHIT certification is preferred and Associate degree is encouraged.

Job Summary: The Health Information Management (HIM) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing activities of the HIM staff assigned for shift, or when necessary. Activities include but are not limited to release of information, chart analysis, chart processing, chart deficiency, and data integrity. May be assigned to oversee and coordinate specialty areas which include birth registration, physician suspension, state/federal release of information and reporting, and transcription posting.
