AMN Healthcare seeks an HIM Coder IV for remote employment to review inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation and physician orders. The role requires a strong understanding of coding conventions and hospital documentation practices.

Remote position open to candidates in most states, with preference for those holding an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Information or related field and experience with EPIC and 3M encoder

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Remote - can work in any state except Alaska, Hawaii, Washington and California.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Health Information or Healthcare related field preferred.
• EPIC and 3M encoder experience preferred.

The Inpatient Coder is responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation and physician orders.

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Remote - can work in any state except Alaska, Hawaii, Washington and California This position is for an Inpatient acute care hospital coder ONLY Associate or Bachelor Degree in Health Information or in Healthcare related field preferred 13 weeks 8hr Days / Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs 40 hours per week EPIC, 3M encoder
