Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
• Must understand or quickly learn medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Bilingual may be required; able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls with a standard greeting.
• Document messages accurately and route to the appropriate care team.
• Schedule patients with providers and resources; manage rescheduling as needed.
• Monitor Inbasket messages and emails.
• Provide courteous patient service and escalate when appropriate.
