Job summary

Harvey Nash seeks an embedded software validation engineer in Illinois to support the Product Group commitments for 2026–2027. The role focuses on expanding HIL/SIL verification capacity and delivering robust validation tests for embedded control software with dSPACE and MATLAB/Simulink, plus automation tooling.

Expect hands-on testing, script development in Python and C++, and collaboration across the engineering team to meet program milestones and quality objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–4 years of experience required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or related field required.
Internships are not accepted as job experience.

Responsibilities

40% HIL/SIL test development and execution; 30% test automation and scripting; 20% issue investigation and debugging; 10% team collaboration, reviews and planning.
Develop, execute, and maintain validation tests for embedded control software using dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, and automation tools
