UFC Gym in San Diego is seeking an energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and results-driven classes. The role requires passion for health, ability to motivate participants of all fitness levels, and a commitment to safe, effective instruction.

The instructor will plan and deliver structured classes, cue music, monitor form, and educate on modifications while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of exercise science principles and safe training techniques.
• General understanding of anatomy and kinesiology.
• Experience with group fitness instruction, including music timing and cueing.
• High energy level and physical stamina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, effective group fitness classes.
• Select appropriate music and incorporate safe, well-paced choreography.
• Demonstrate exercises with clear cueing and transitions.
• Educate participants on proper form, modifications, and contraindications.
• Ensure safe use of all equipment and enforce studio guidelines.
• Welcome and orient new participants.
• Motivate members and create a positive class environment.
• Monitor participants and make real-time adjustments.
