Job summary

Marlborough Highways, the Havering contract team, seeks an experienced Highways Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of highway maintenance and improvement works across the borough.

You will work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and the client to ensure works meet quality standards, timescales and health & safety obligations, and contribute to contract performance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway maintenance supervision or similar roles.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and contract compliance.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe delivery of highway maintenance and improvement works.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to meet timelines.
• Ensure work quality, contractual compliance and customer service targets.

Job description

Marlborough Highways has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Highways Supervisor to join our Havering contract team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of highway maintenance and improvement works across the borough.

Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and the client, you will ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards, within agreed timescales and in line with contractual, commercial and Health & Safety obligations.

The role will play a key part in achieving contract performance targets, maintaining excellent customer service, driving operational efficiency and supporting the successful delivery of the contract.
