  • Work Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
  • Salary Range: Transportation Associate: $22.82 - $23.51/hr; $47,648 - $49,088/yr
    Transportation Generalist: $24.39 - $30.60/hr; $50,926 - $63,893/yr
About the Role

The work involves road surface and roadside maintenance, snow and ice control, and ensuring safe travel conditions. Positions are part of the Transportation Specialist Series, with opportunities for career advancement.

Minimum Qualifications
Transportation Generalist
  • One year of related experience or education in heavy equipment operation or roadway maintenance
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B), with Tanker Endorsement (must obtain Class A within 6 months)
Transportation Associate
  • Commercial Learner's Permit (no air brake restriction), with plans to obtain Class A CDL within 3 months
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and work in weather elements
  • Pass drug, background, and reference checks
  • Immediate availability to report to work within 1 hour
