Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks in the Orlando, FL area in compliance with all regulations and company policies.

The role involves working in a team on mowing operations, adapting to an on-call schedule, and handling equipment from small machines to tractors, including weed control and litter removal. A clean driving record and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Roadway maintenance experience required.
• Small machine mowing experience preferred.
• Mowing and weed control skills.
• MOT Certifications preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team performing highway mowing operations.
• Be flexible and able to participate in on-call rotation.
• Perform mowing tasks with various equipment (small/large machines, tractors, 15' decks).
• Weed eating.
• Litter removal.
• Operate side-by-side, trash pickers/reachers.
