Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Highway Maintenance/Herbicide Technician to perform highway maintenance in Huntsville, TX. Responsibilities include highway cleanup and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Must pass criminal background check
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish

Preferred Experience

• Roadway maintenance
• Herbicide application
• MOT Certifications (traffic control)
• Operation of wheel loaders, skid steers, forklifts, asphalt rollers, etc.
• Concrete forming and repair
• CDL A License (a plus)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of local driving rules
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Adherence to safety standards
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule, including weather events and snow/ice work

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, with flexibility for special projects and weather events. Starting pay at $16.50/hour. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and more.
