Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks on state routes and related projects, with a focus on safety and quality. The job features a four day work week and training in highway/roadway routines.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to work outdoors in all weather. You will operate maintenance equipment, lift moderately heavy objects, and contribute to a strong, family‑oriented

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift moderately heavy objects and walk/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
