State of Ohio is hiring for Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) or Highway Technician 1 (HT1) in Morgan County. The job will place you based on your qualifications and offers full-time on-site work with CDL training as needed.

You will perform highway maintenance, learn CDL, and contribute to snow/ice operations while enjoying a strong benefits package and regular pay increases.

Qualifications

• Highway Maintenance Worker 1: CDL with tanker endorsement; Class B license required.
• Highway Technician 1: Class B CDL with tanker endorsement; arithmetic and English literacy.
• Job Skills: Highway Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve the public and work to make Ohio roads safer.
• Attend training to obtain CDL licensure if needed.
• Perform highway maintenance tasks: flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repair, litter pickup, mowing.
• Participate in snow and ice operations.
