Job summary

Lee Maintenance is seeking a skilled equipment operator for road construction and maintenance tasks in the South Carolina state highway system. You will operate a tandem dump truck, belt loader, sweeper, and tractor with broom, while setting up safe work zones and performing vegetation work.

The role requires a valid license, six months of related experience or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within six months. Overtime and night shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tandem Dump Truck and other heavy equipment for road construction and preservation.
• Coordinate the placement of traffic control devices for work zones.
• Perform vegetation management and litter pickup; assist in emergencies.
• Work extended hours, nights, or weekends when required, and lift up to 50 lbs.
