Job summary

Labellapc is seeking a qualified Highway Engineer for their Richmond, VA offices. The role involves collaborating on transportation engineering projects and designing key infrastructure elements under the guidance of a senior engineer.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 5 to 7 years of experience, and ideally, an EIT Certificate. The position offers extensive benefits, including a flexible work schedule and health insurance.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience.
• Preferably have their EIT Certificate (or the ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Experience with Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling software a plus.
• Experience with VDOT and local government projects and their design software.
• Desire to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering.
• Design horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, signing and pavement markings.
• Attend meetings and conferences when necessary.

Skills

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience or knowledge using MicroStation

Experience or knowledge using AutoCAD

Experience or knowledge using OpenRoads

Experience or knowledge using Civil 3D

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
