Job summary

TPD invites qualified Civil Engineers to join our Access Design team in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and prefer EIT/FE/PE certification. Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office is expected, along with a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred).
• Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Capital improvement planning including providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis
• Obtaining, analyzing, PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria/procedure HOP's
• Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
• Reviewing construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents
• Serving as on-site project representative.
