Qualifications

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
2. PE certification in the state of CA (or ability to obtain within a year from hire date)
3. 4+ years of experience working on the design of roadway projects, with strong preference for Caltrans highway design experience
4. Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/Inroads
5. Design experience on horizontal and vertical alignments, streetscape and roadway improvements, multimodal design and signage
6. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
7. Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
8. Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
9. Ability to work independently and as a team
