Dover or New Castle, Delaware | (Hybrid Working)
An established transportation engineering consultancy is looking to add a Highway / Roadway Design Engineer to its Delaware team.
The group has a strong backlog of transportation work and is looking for a technically capable engineer who can contribute directly to roadway design and plan production.
This is primarily a technical design position rather than a project management or business development role. Strong OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and/or MicroStation experience is particularly important.
You'll work alongside experienced transportation engineers and project managers on highway and roadway projects for public-sector clients.
Responsibilities will include:
The main attraction here is the workload. The Delaware transportation team has a strong existing project backlog and is adding technical staff to support that work.
You'll be joining an established team where there is plenty of design work to get involved with immediately, rather than being hired ahead of projects that may or may not materialize.
The position also offers:
Location: Dover or New Castle, DE
Work arrangement: Hybrid
This would suit a roadway engineer who enjoys the technical side of transportation design and wants to join a team with a healthy workload and a genuine need for additional design capability.
