Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited bachelor's or post-bachelor's program full-time (12 credit hours).
• Must have completed 30 credit hours toward degree; transcript evidence required.
• GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist design projects including bridge replacements and resurfacing.
• Use CAD and other software to prepare design plans and quantity summaries.
• Delineate right of way on plans and print maps for surveys.
• Attend public meetings and prepare handouts and maps for hearings and presentations.
• Research historical databases and locate highway plans for designers and the public.
