Who We Are: Fisher Associates, P.E., L.S., L.A., D.P.C, is a multidisciplinary design services firm headquartered in Rochester, NY, with eight locations nationwide. The firm provides civil/site engineering, transportation engineering, electrical engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, GIS, construction inspection, precast engineering and construction engineering services to public and private sector clients across numerous markets.

Salary Range: $83,000 - $98,000 annually

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to effectively complete assignments related to highway design, drainage design, alignments, and other duties applicable to these projects.
  • Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects.
  • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proactively assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Group Managers.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
  • 5-10 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
  • Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, STAAD, Bridge Design Software preferred.
