Qualifications
- Current registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
- Four years of civil engineering experience.
- Experience in transportation construction and material inspection.
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and documents.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide with overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspections of highway construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and contracts.
- Conduct material testing and documentation of project compliance.
- Provide recommendations to Northern Construction Quality Engineer.
- Travel statewide with overnight stays as required.
