Branch Builds, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to join our civil division in Virginia. The role involves manual labor on heavy highway construction projects, following directions from supervisors, and maintaining site safety and organization.

You will handle material prep, equipment setup, and time-sensitive tasks while working with minimal oversight and teamwork to meet project timelines. This is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position with physical demands typical of construction work.

Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack materials, and set up equipment.
• Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor.
• Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report violations.
• Operate tools such as pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, and grinders.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks.
• Prepare new sites by digging, moving dirt, and installing E&S controls.
• Clean debris and hazardous materials from site.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
