Branch Builds, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to join our Civil Division for heavy highway construction projects. The role involves manual labor, following directions, and working effectively within a team on site.

You will unload and prepare materials, set up equipment, direct traffic, and operate a variety of tools while adhering to safety policies and procedures, with opportunities to grow within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor.
• Ability to follow directions closely.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack materials, and set up equipment.
• Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor.
• Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations to management.
• Safely operate tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, plate compactor.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually and with equipment.
• Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, installing E&S controls, exposing utilities.
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
