Job summary

The Miami County Board of Commissioners seeks a workforce member to support construction, repair, and maintenance of county roadways and bridges. Tasks include operating light to medium equipment, snow removal, concrete finishing, and related duties as part of a crew or solo.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent, valid Ohio driver’s license, ability to use computers, 1 year of related experience, and a valid Class A CDL with medical clearance and drug testing as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use computers and knowledge of office practices.
• 1 year of experience in construction or related work or equivalent training.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Class A CDL and pass medical/drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and operate light to medium trucks and equipment.
• Perform snow/ice removal, concrete work, and patching of roadways.
• Install drainage, guardrails, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain daily logs and communicate effectively in stressful situations.
