Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Project Coordinator to join the Construction Management Team in Columbia, MD supporting City of Baltimore DOT projects. You will coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors and agencies to advance highways, bridges, ramps and pedestrian infrastructure while ensuring ADA compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of construction management/inspection experience, basic knowledge of scheduling, methods and field inspection equipment, and the ability to read roadway plans and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of construction management/inspection experience for highway, bridge, ramp or pedestrian projects meeting ADA standards.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling and materials.
• Knowledge of inspection methods.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, engineers and government agencies.
• Proven supervisory ability and safety awareness.
• Proficient with computers, scheduling and field inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with technical staff, consultants, contractors and agencies to expedite construction projects meeting ADA standards.
• Coordinate field inspections, assign work, train, evaluate performance and provide guidance.
• Review schedules and coordinate adjustments to construction problems.
• Schedule pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve construction issues.
• Use computer software to prepare correspondence, manage workflow and maintain records.
• Perform related work and work effectively with others.
