Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible CDL Equipment Operator to manage day-to-day operations of street sweepers, tanker wash trucks, and other CDL equipment. The role requires safety-aware performance and adaptability across varied sites nationwide.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a CDL (A or B) with the willingness to obtain the tanker endorsement if not certified.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B required; willing to obtain within 90 days of employment (company provided).
• Tanker endorsement preferred (company provided if not currently certified).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to drive manual transmission trucks preferred.
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Willing to travel away from home for up to 1–2 weeks (DE, NJ, NY, PA, VA); hotel expenses paid by company.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Street Sweeper and/or a Wash Truck (Tanker).
• Perform traffic control measures and set up safety zones.
• Load/unload tanker equipment, shovels, brooms, etc.
• Perform tree trimming and brush removal.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Use pressure washers and sweepers; operate Ariel Lift Trucks.
• Possibly drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Perform other duties as needed.

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient CDL Equipment Operator with good ethics and a great attitude. This person will be responsible for performing the day-to-day routine job operations of Street Sweepers, tanker Flush Trucks, and diverse types of other CDL Equipment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS:

• Operates a Street Sweeper and/or a Wash Truck (Tanker).
• Performs traffic control measures (maintenance of traffic) and setting up safety zones.
• Loads and unloads tanker equipment (water), shovels, brooms, etc.
• Performs tree trimming functions including hauling and removal of brush.
• Performs pre-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Uses pressure washers and sweepers.
• Uses all equipment and tools safely.
• Operation of various Ariel Lift Trucks.
• May drive standard shift vehicles.
• Performs other duties, as needed.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 21+ years of age.
• Must have a CDL (A or B) or willing to obtain it within 90 days of employment (company provided, if not currently licensed.)
• Tanker endorsement preferred (company provided if not currently certified).
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Ability to drive manual transmission trucks preferred.
• Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Experience in crew leadership or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Ability to travel away from home for up to 1-2 weeks at a time.DE, NJ, NY, PA, AND VA (hotel expenses paid by the Company).
