Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver for the Chicago, IL hub. This role offers home daily shifts with flexible day/night windows and up to $1,400 per week in gross earnings.

Drivers will run intermodal containers to facilities across WI, MI, IA, and IN, typically 1,800 miles weekly across short-haul regional routes. Day and night shifts available with drop-and-hook emphasis.

• Move intermodal containers out of Chicago rail yards to customer facilities across Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana.
• Operate both day and night shifts with night dispatches focused on drop-and-hook operations.

• The Money & Miles: Gross an average of $1,200 to $1,400 every single week , logging around 1,800 miles per week across short-haul regional and metro intermodal runs.


• The Daily Routine: Move intermodal containers out of Chicago rail yards to customer facilities across Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana. We offer both day and night shifts—with night dispatches heavily focused on fast drop-and-hook operations to keep your wheels turning, along with occasional live loads and unloads during day runs.


• Requirements & Screening: We have three clear hiring paths: 1. Entry-level drivers with 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. 2. Drivers with 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months. 3. Drivers with 12 months of verifiable CDL-A experience in the last 5 years.

Note: Must reside within 30 miles of the Chicago yard (Zip 60608) and pass mandatory dual-panel hair follicle and urine drug screenings.
