Job summary

CLA North Carolina Higher Education Assurance is hiring an Audit Director or Manager to join our team in Winston-Salem, Charlotte, or Raleigh. You’ll lead engagements for higher education clients, plan, supervise, and deliver high-quality assurance work.

You’ll also mentor staff and collaborate with Principals to ensure timely delivery. Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, at least 6 years in a large firm, and an active CPA license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license required or clearly stated compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of higher education client engagements.
• Lead engagement decisions and keep Principal informed of progress.
• Develop and mentor staff, assist with recruiting and assignments.
• Supervise engagement letters, discuss terms with clients, and ensure sign-off.
