Job summary

Tyler Junior College is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to own the full recruitment lifecycle and deliver exceptional service to hiring managers and new employees. This on-site role in Tyler requires collaboration across departments, knowledge of HR policies, and the ability to manage onboarding and pre-employment tasks efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field and at least two years of HR experience, with preference for higher education experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• Two years of experience in human resources.
• Experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment life-cycle within assigned areas, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing talent, offering candidates, initiating pre-employment screenings, and onboarding documents.
• Coordinate and process new employee paperwork and ensure data is entered before start date.
• Review personnel actions and communicate updates to applicable departments; enter changes in the database.
• Consult with leadership for job classification, level, and compensation recommendations.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and provide guidance on policies and processes.
• Design and implement recruiting strategy with senior HR leadership.
• Attend job fairs and recruitment events, including after hours or weekends.
