Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA required.
• 6+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of higher education audit engagements.
• Plan staffing and timing of engagements to deliver value to clients.
• Lead engagement decisions and keep principals informed of progress.
• Develop and mentor staff; provide direct consultation and training.
• Prepare engagement letters, discuss terms with clients, and estimate fees.
• Evaluate internal controls and audit programs; obtain engagement principal approval.
• Monitor progress, time budgets, and deadlines; communicate with client management.
