Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking a Forklift Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within a high-volume warehouse environment, supporting BMW deliveries and shipments. The role involves using a forklift, scanning equipment, and following precise work instructions for inventory and shipping accuracy.

The successful candidate will read and follow safety rules, inspect items, and assist with documentation. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and operate machinery is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with data analysis for trucking loading in a high volume warehouse.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand or with forklift.
• Inspect items for identity, quantity and condition; segregate items requiring special handling.
• Complete receiving and shipping documents per ProTrans specifications with the scan gun.
• Coordinate transportation requirements and gather data for reports.
• Operate banding, taping, sealing and other equipment; perform safety checks daily.
