Job summary

ProTrans in Romulus, MI is hiring a Forklift Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials in a high-volume warehouse supporting BMW. Shift is Mon - Fri, 8am to 4:30pm, with safety and accuracy emphasized.

You will operate forklifts and scanning equipment, prepare shipments, complete documentation, and help maintain clean, organized work areas while adhering to safety standards. A High School diploma or GED and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or related entry-level experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Experience in high-volume warehouse operations is preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets and trailers.
• Move items within warehouse and to/from carrier vehicles.
• Ensure accurate receiving and shipping documentation using a scan gun.
• Inspect items for damage and proper identification.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
