Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time cook at The Carey School in San Mateo, CA. The shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Previous 2-3 years of high-volume cooking experience and allergen knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and temperatures while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and safety; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required; maintains records as needed.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and all company policies and procedures.
