Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant and a 50+ member team. You’ll drive quality, service, and cleanliness while fostering a welcoming, fast, and authentic Whataburger experience. You’ll coach staff, manage costs, and ensure safety and brand standards align with company goals.

You’ll work in your home restaurant with opportunities to support adjacent locations and participate in leadership sessions that advance your career path within Whataburger.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays and variable hours.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain it during training.
• Valid driver’s license and auto liability at minimum levels in your state.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service standards with friendly, fast, authentic Whataburger experiences.
• Coach, develop, and support Team Members to reach their potential.
• Achieve restaurant goals across sales, labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Ensure food safety, workplace safety, and brand standards are upheld.
• Lead shift transitions and guide talent development with restaurant leadership.
