Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen in New Buffalo Township, MI is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support a busy service team. You will clean and sanitize tables, floors, and dining areas; assist servers and bartenders; and help maintain a tidy kitchen and dining room during peak hours.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience is not required, but a strong work ethic helps.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk 5 hours without a break.
• Ability to interact with the public.
• Comfortable working in a high volume establishment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Maintain appearance standards.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be available days, nights, weekends and holidays, during our peak season (June - Labor Day).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean and sanitize tables and seats.
• Maintain clean dining room floors and seating areas.
• Clean high chair and boosters after each use.
• Empty bus tubs in proper areas.
• Take out trash.
• Fill ice bins.
• Change bag in the box sodas.
• Assist wait staff as needed.
• Mop up spills.
• Empty recycling containers.
• Sort beer bottles & kegs and placing them in the assigned area.
• Maintain the stock in the coolers.
• Keep the parking lot and sidewalks free of debris.
• Assist the servers/bartenders with cleaning glassware.
• Keep the assigned bathrooms tidy and stocked.
• Place chairs on tables at closing.
• Other duties as assigned by a manager
