Job summary

Seneca-Gaming-Corporation is seeking a Production Cook in Buffalo, NY to prepare a variety of menu items and follow recipes. You will rotate between cooking stations and maintain proper temperatures, labeling, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include using ovens, grills, and pans, assembling supplies, following production sheets, and delivering prompt, friendly service to guests. Must have at least 2 years cooking experience and good communication skills; culinary education is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education/experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of intermediate cooking skills required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, reading/writing/speaking effectively to employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot areas, refilling pans and garnish.
• Must command all stations of the kitchen (roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté).
• Maintain proper food temperatures per standards.
• Label, date, and rotate products for safety and sanitation.
• Follow production sheets and determine food requirements for daily prep.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for daily cooking activities.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers and grills.
• Provide prompt, friendly service to all guests and maintain a professional work environment.
