Job summary

Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional food and beverage service and to create memorable guest experiences.

The position requires at least three years of bartending in a high-volume setting, extensive knowledge of wine pairings, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay, tips, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of bartending in a high-volume environment.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage including wine pairing and suggestive selling.
• Excellent grooming and communication; ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Valid Washington state alcohol service permit and food handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Follow service steps and timing; maintain etiquette and courteous attitude.
• Know and explain all food and beverage offerings.
• Set up and operate mobile bars; stock supplies and tools.
• Prepare garnishes and batches; label items; keep storage organized.
• Ensure guest areas are ready and orders are served at proper temperature.
• Provide service recovery and complete closing duties as directed.
