Job summary

Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle seeks a dedicated Full Time Bartender to join our luxury team in the lobby bar. You will craft beverages, demonstrate knowledge of cocktails and wines, and deliver exceptional service to guests in a refined setting.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of high-volume restaurant experience, a Washington MAST Permit, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years high-volume restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Luxury dining experience preferred.
• General knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
• Working knowledge of wine and wine-pairings; Advanced knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding dining experience for guests by meeting needs promptly.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with impeccable presentation.
• Have extensive knowledge of menu items and their preparation.
• Take guest orders and make menu recommendations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
• Assist with table turnover and maintain smooth service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
