Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Familiarity with roasting, grilling, sautéing, or scratch cooking is a plus.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment; understanding of back-of-house operations.
• Reliable, dedicated and adaptable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, proper portioning, and correct temperatures.
• Present visually appealing plates with plating and garnishing.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and station setup/breakdown.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and allergy awareness.
• Work well under pressure with speed and urgency.
• Communicate clearly to support teamwork and follow instructions.
