Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area while supporting a busy culinary team dedicated to freshness and quality.

The role involves washing dishes by hand or with a commercial dishwasher, stocking supplies, and assisting with food prep as directed by the Head Chef. A positive attitude and reliability are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher preferred.
• Familiar with industry best practices and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes by hand or using a dishwasher.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors and manage trash disposal.
• Assist in food preparation as directed by Head/Sous Chef.
