Job summary

Morrison Living is seeking a full-time cook at the Wesley Des Moines Rehabilitation & Care Center in Des Moines, WA. Shifts run 5:00 am–1:30 pm or 12:00 pm–8:00 pm, with a fixed pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Candidates must have global cuisine and high-volume cooking experience and be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Global cuisine cooking and high-volume cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety; follows safe food-handling procedures and HACCP standards.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
