Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Food Production Cook to deliver fast, fresh, and friendly service in a busy store kitchen. You will prep ingredients for the kitchen and help maintain department and food safety standards.

You’ll work across multiple cooking venues, prepackage condiments for prepared foods, and assist with catering orders as needed. This role requires culinary knowledge, the ability to execute high-volume production, and flexible rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Culinary knowledge and understanding of nutritional values and ingredients.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write proficiently.
• Ability to execute high-volume production.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in food preparation and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in multiple cooking venues.
• Prepackage condiments for prepared foods.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Provide internal customer service and assist guests as needed.
• Perform tasks at assigned workstation and follow SOPs.
