Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Production Specialist to provide fresh, in-store products with a focus on hot foods like rotisserie chicken and sandwiches.

You will maintain department safety standards and ensure timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires 1+ years in commercial foodservice, strong culinary knowledge, and the ability to work across multiple cooking venues while following recipes, SOPs, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in commercial foodservice.
• Experience in food preparation and equipment.
• Culinary knowledge and understanding of ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, slices, dices, chops, food for recipe preparation; preps in accordance with recipe specifications and SOPs.
• Uses multiple and more complex production planning tools for all products to ensure 100% in-stocks.
• Completes tasks at assigned workstation.
• Assists in multiple cooking venues and catering orders as needed.
• Masters recipe preparation and daily production to account for material variations and demand.
• Prepares, packages, and stocks fresh product.
