Job summary

PeopleReady of Lexington, KY is now hiring Cooks in Georgetown, KY. As a Cook, you will perform many different duties that are part of preparing meals. What you'll be doing as a Cook includes preparing meals in a large-volume establishment, sautéing, grill, fry, and cook ingredients according to food safety guidelines, and making salads, desserts, and complete meals.

Available shifts include 1st shift (Day). Pay is $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in a large volume establishment
• Sauté, grill, fry, and cook ingredients according to food safety guidelines
• Chop, slice, and wash fruits and vegetables
• Make salads, desserts, and complete meals
• May create menus and follow recipes
• Assist with catering orders and prepare trays for customers
• Clean the kitchen area, take out trash, mop floors and wipe down the dining area when needed
